Thanks for the chance to join.
Owned my 1st d4 now for 1 month, mainly a family vehicle due to where we live.
Cheers

Newbie
Thank you for a fantastic site, my first car here in SA was a Series 2A 109, pick up...had it for 17 years and upgraded to a Discovery 3...unfortunately its a S model and does not have BT or Navi. Now we are trying (via the posts) and find out if i can put a D4 (2010) navi screen to a 6 disk HK sound system without losing the amp function? I don't want to want to lose the original set up in the LR...just want to know if its worth the trouble to get BT and Nav via a MOST cable.
Yet again thank you for a fantastic site, greetings from South Africa

Welcome.
Just my opinion but to an S or SE without a MOST bus it is probably easier to get a 2DIN aftermarket stereo/navigator and the speakers of your choice.
If you have already fitted a MOST bus in your vehicle, as you mentioned the 6-CD changer and amp, look in the D3 in car entertainment forum here. I recently installed a M2.Connect which enables both BT calls and BT audio streaming. Alternatively you can get a D4 BT module which will give you BT calls only.
Can’t help you with the navigator other than saying that your iPhone or Android probably navigates better and looks much nicer than the vendor supplied nav.

Afternoon Martin,
I have recently upgraded to a D3 from an aging D2 only to find that some things never change
My front footwells are wet and I'm now trying to track down the nature of my indoor pool, needless to say your forum will provide many hours of now required research.
Thanks

WATER INGRESS THROUGH A-PILLAR EXTERIOR TRIM ATTACHMENT HOLES
Situation: A customer may report water in the footwell of the vehicle. Water ingress through the
lower slot in the A-pillar structure, where the exterior trim lower location peg slots into the body, may
be the cause. The customer may also report unexplained illumination of warning lights such as the oil
pressure warning lamp.
Action: If water ingress is confirmed from the A-pillar region on either side of the vehicle, BOTH sides
of the vehicle must be repaired at the same time. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to
remove the lower location pegs from the A-pillar exterior trim, cover the lower pin attachment slots in
the A-pillar and install the trim using new clips in the special hardware kit available for the repair. .

Hi All,
Looking to purchase a Disco 3 soon, probably in about 6 months. Had a Disco 1 for about 11 years up until a year ago and miss it. My wife is running a Freelander 1 at present. I have the scars to prove it..

Wanted to drop in and say hello.
New LR owner here. 2006 LR3 SE 134,000 miles on it. Located in NC, USA.
She run great and i absolutely love it. I realize being a bit older and high mileage it will have some quarks to work out but all in it all so far its a great rig.
Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated also a good manual to use.
Thanks
R. Parker
