modification to lock D4 with tailgate open?

hi all

I have a D4, and I'm trying to lock the rest of the doors without locking the tailgate, which is what I used to do on the D3 when I had dogs in the back locked behind their cage, but in need of ventilation.

Does anyone know if this is a modification that can be done, or is it just impossible now?

thanks, emer.

Emer,

Lock the car with the fob as usual. Press the tallgate open key on the fob - hey presto, the tailgate opens and the doors remain locked. This also disarm the internal alarm Thumbs Up

If you have an HSE - with keyless entry - just open the boot (tailgate to our colonial friends) and the doors stay locked
