sorry to hijack - Jonesy please do tell more about how your lights are mounted. I have some hid driving lights to fit and winch but haven't decided on whether I 'need' a bullbar at this stage to do this. I kinda like the factory look Now D3 HSE TDV6 - waiting to be modified
Now 94 ES D1, 4.6, F&R lockers, 34 inch Simex's, warn highmount, plasma & HID's
Gone 87 RR, 4.6, F&R lockers, 34 inch Simex's, warn highmount
Gone 82 RR 4 door, 4 ltr, rear locker, 32's, warn low mount

Hi trobbo - they are the <blurk> factory spot lights. Maybe that is being to derogatory to spot lights... so, let's call them factory "candles." They're 55W and aenemic yellow in colour.
They come as a (way too expensive) kit from LR - which includes mounts which prevent them from being used with hidden winch mount. There is a pipe which runs up from the bottom of the radiator protector panel to the underside of the bumper skin.
If you don't want to lump around a bullbar - you could opt for a hidden winch. A winch compatible A-bar could then handle the spot lights. Otherwise there would need to be a custom-made plate to go under the bumper skin with reinforcing to another firm point, to prevent vibration. Or install bull bar, winch, spotties and CB antenna on an ARB bullbar.
Cheers,
Rob
