people who have put in cargo barriers and dividers....
Hi all!
I put in my full height cargo barrier and went to put the divider in today but have a bit of a prob.....
Can the divider door go on the left or does it always have to go on the right? I put it on the left and when I went to fit the lock; the lock doesnt fit in the slot as the gap it too big between the swinging door and the bolt latch. anyone else had this prob? thanks!

I fitted my cage door on the left as you look into the back ...you have to turn the latch plate around so it is facing close to the metal tube
EDIT: I'll try and post some pics 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Will post some pics now - mine seems to come all the way to frame and the boot lid only just closes! How do I bend it?

my other question refers to the bottom photo......why does the barrier waste all that space behind the headrests? should it bend in that much?!

well I don't know the technical term as I am duncelike this evening but I interpret it to be the tongue like piece of metal secured by the nut in my last pic 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

This metal arm is the latch, that is assembled to fit the other side in the kit. To move the other side the bolt needs to be undone so that you can turn the latch arm the other way, or you can fit upside down and insert the key upside down

This is the legendary Jack Russel hole, if you have one of these canine hooligans dont bother with a cargo barrier, cos when you start your journey, he will be sitting on the back seat leather.
If you look towards the roof of the D3, the barier needs to lean back to match the profile of the stepped roof lines.
