I've just bought a lovely 2nd hand LHD Disco3 HSE which I am now in the process of shipping abroad (to Israel). It comes with the full OEM touchscreen and satnav but unfortunately NavTeq do not produce maps for Israel.
There are some map providers who do make maps (iGo, Mio).
I assume that the only way I can integrate them into the main display is to buy a separate GPS unit which uses those maps and then use GBIF to splice the video feed in? But then how do I get the touchscreen input back to the new GPS unit?
Or is there a better way (probably)
