Hello All
During my trip to the LR Experience at Eastnor last week the instructor told me that the tow hitch assist was linked to the rear camera and the electronics which govern the position of the wheels - it does NOT need the full surround camera system. He was adamant that this is the case even when I challenged him
He went on to say that in his view LR should have had this as an optional extra which you could buy without having to take the full surround camera system.
It struck that someone (ie BAS) should, therefore, be able to hack into the electronics and make the tow hitch assist operational - as is possible with switching on the 4x4 info........
Any thoughts?

Might well be possible for Pete to do somthing with this. However the cameras on the surround and single reverse camera system are totally diffrent, so this may cause an issue. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
