Rear parking sensors not disabled with trailer connected |
|
Noticed that the rear PDC sensors worked with the trailer hitched on, drove me F G nuts when manoeuvring the boat, beeeeeeeep! Quizzed the dealer & he couldn't shed any light on it until he could get it onto a test book & all 4 of his were busy. Anyway Pete at BAS had it sorted after a few calls & a tweak
Cheers mate

Seems to be getting to the status of a known issue, dealer forgetting to set this up after adding electrics...

Apparently it's a software issue that has only come to light in the last week.

I had same trouble with the rear pdc when I had a trailer connected. Took it back to dealer and they say that their computer could not fault it. When I told them to **** the computer and try it with a trailer attached they connected a Trailer Board and the PDC went WEEEEEEEEE. They then did the job properly and everything now ok. Computers are only as good as the person operating them. No good if your blind.
