After market headrest mounted monitors

Sorry if there's another thread about this but does anyone know of an option for headrest monitors for D4 GS in black cloth?

I would presume they'd need hard wired in down through the seat posts?

Cheers[/b]

Here you go - these are Rosen as used by LR but do not as far as I know interface directly with the front touchscreen.

 FFRR Vogue SE - Waitomo

D4 XXV - Causeway

D4 HSE 255 - Sumatra

D4 HSE 245 - Stornoway

D3 S - Java

Has anyone used the Rosen screens? Interested to know any opinions as to quality and ease of use. Do they have a central unit and where does it mount ?

Much appreciated

I have Rosen AV7500 in my FL2

Each unit is a replacement headrest, I think they work very well, kids love them and adults on long runs

They each have their own DVD player in, and can transmit one DVD to the other if the want to watch the same one. Press a button and they can listen to them on the radio, by a FM Transmitter (tune your radio in to your chosen frequency), my model also has games in built (think very old Atari type ones)

Many thanks. This is exactly what I want - piece of mind for long runs Smile

The eBay ones come out about 870, but when discussing these at the weekend with a friend who's looking at a D4 (and has two small boys!), he pointed out that for £858 you could have two 16GB iPads... Not quite the same thing, I know, but possibly more versatile

Rosen AV7500 in my D3. iPOD is used instead of carting around loads of DVDs. The installtion is now tidied up with the power behind the centre console. I also have a link from the control box to the main screen. I have to do a bit of jiggery-pockery to get it to display but it works.

Thats really nice. Is it difficult to connect the iPod to the central control unit of the Rosen kit? How big is the central control unit and where is the best place to mount it, in the centre console?. Does it provide any inputs, like the RSA plugs in the OEM system?

Cheers
Andrzej
