Hey Doc, welcome to Perth. Only one footy team to support and that is the Dockers.
As for Heine, don't take him too personal. Having been mates with him for years and years, he could never thank me enough me for moving here.
We'll catch up over the weekend, and have a beer and discuss footy and the price of eggs after the World Cup.
Cheers,
Pierre Why is the fear of long words called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?

Hi Doc,
What mileage has that ozzie D3 2005 V8 of yours done? I've just bought one with 170000 on the clock and a bit nervous of what may lie in wait.... Best of Luck in Oz, I'd be there but I'm too old & set in my ways! 1998 Disco 1 V8 A

Hi DiscoRoy
The mileage on my 2005 V8 HSE is 80 000 km which is quite low. I would recommend that you have the gearbox flushed (double flush) as this could save a fortune in the long run. I had mine done last week by Franzone (Independent Specialist) in Perth last week for about $1100 (R7500). The oil was BLACK
I would also look at replacing the diff oils. I am sure that if you change the oils and filters regularly and perform the basic maintenance on the vehicle then the V8 should do 500 000 km
Good luck with the vehicle.

Hi Dorko
I am really looking forward to getting out into the OZ bush. I bought Pierre's 05 V8 HSE and it is great I had a TDV6 in SA but I must say that the V8 is better, except the fuel bill. I have had plenty of LR V8 110's in my time and they have been fantastic offroad.
We have settled in Burns Beach which is about 30 km north of the city.
Thanks
