There are some great tracks through there, but they can turn nasty when wet. We spent 9 hours getting 6 vehicles just 250 metres during a training trip with the RRC. Used every means of recovery available, even destroyed a set of MaxTrax. Got out at 1 am in the morning, only to face the drive back to Sydney. At least there was not many vehicles on the road at that time of the morning. Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar, side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

Sounds perfect
Days like that are the reason i throw a couple of rated sleeping bags in on every trip. You never know when you'll need to spend a night in the forest.
Sometimes it's better to give up early, get some sleep and have another go in the daylight.
Mind you, I haven't had to sleep 2 adults and 2 kids in the back of the sport as yet so fingers crossed we don't come to that.
Hope to catch you at one of the club events sometime. 'Black Betty'

Are you still glad you chose Black?
I'm sure you have plenty of Bush pinstripes.

Great Stuff.
The tyres have been great. next step is getting a set to match my off-road camper so I have extra spares for the Cape trip we're planning for next year.
Bush pin stripes aplenty but most are surface scratches and looks like 95% of them will buff out if I ever decide to go that way.
Otherwise they'll just remain as badges of honour 'Black Betty'
