Genuine warning triangle
I have the LR warning triangle that is secured underneath the rear occasional seats but I believe that when I sold my D3 I left the velcro strap in it Could someone that has this kit (KWR500021 I believe) please tell me the width of the velcro securing strap so that I can replace it. I know that I could measure the securing holes but I do not get my new D4 until the end of March.
Cheers

Standard
No it was an extra - I believe it cost me about £15 when I bought it but they are about £21 now. I bought it because it is quite compact and attaches to the D3 beneath the rear occasional seats, nearest to the tailgate.
I will get a photo of the warning triangle but have not got a photo of it in place and at present I do not have a D3 or 4

This is where it fits on the D3 & D4, on the D3 5 seater (or RRS) just fits next to the jack

As promised - pictures of it fitted
This is the velcro strap fitted, it goes through a slot in the trim.
all I can say is, that is a very clean boot...mine is a lot more dirty, dusty and muddy than that...
and I never had a velcroed warning triangle...The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Q : In order to get to this warning triangle, do you you need to empty the boot and lift the third row seats up ??
Because if you do then its a stupid place for LR to store a Warning Triangle !! Duncan

@JF Lux - the boot's not had time to get mucky yet as I've only had the D4 11 days.
@DiscoDunc - your correct, it is stored under the third row seats, If I ever need it (which I hope I don't) I don't think it will be much of a problem, if it's because of a puncture I'll still need to raise the seats to get at the spare wheel winch anyway.

But if you dont get a puncture and just break down..... whilst on holiday with the boot loaded to the roof...
its a stupid place to store a warning triangle. best to store behind the second row seats I would have thought
or under the front seats....Duncan

I just store mine in the left hand side storage area in the boot. Fits in fine along with all the other tow ropes, de-icer, tow bar, hiviz tops and other essential doohickies.
About £5-6 ISTR from the e of the bay. Had to pick it up for driving in France where its required - apparently its two for Spain
