Wiring and connectors
Hi,
I have bought a D4 upgrade module but the connectors etc are not the same as the Nokia obv and I can’t find a post on the thread which shows which connectors to use / buy. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where / what to buy to connect it up from the Nokia loom etc?
Thanks.

What connectors did you use / where did you buy them?

Hello to all.
I don't own a land rover but run a small garage and get several in for repair.
One of my customers has a discovery 3 with phone problems, he found this post and purchased a d4 module and has tasked me with fitting it.
The module he has given me has a part number AH22 10D893 AB and another number with a barcode 330872098. This module looks to have a different connector for the most cable, and its larger connector has three rows of pins with 54 pins in total.
Can this module be used?
Thanks in advance, Barry.

MOST should just plug in ?
Apply power only to the new module like this :
I got an old computer disk drive plug and cut it so there was only 2 pins .The new bluetooth only needs power and ground ..thats it .
Get the red wire from the TMS unit if easier

It needs to have a MOST plug obviously (retro fit one's do not have them i did read here from Wiggs)
BUT i am also curious if the "later" Jaguar bluetooth models will fit in LR, as they are looking the same as the D4 one's with MOST connector on the outside...Best regards

Bluetooth numbers - these are for factory fitted ( or most retrofit ) systems - not for aftermarket kit

Thanks.
It’s interesting that the D4 part number you give is of the large module and not the novero module on the first page of this thread. Or maybe I misunderstood the first page
Does that mean the large module can be fitted to the D3?
