They could, but the Software that your Dealer is supplied with won't let them!!!
My dealer said that they could do it! But would be about 3/4hr on the computer - so about £80.
Hopefully, if the timings right, Wiggs is going to do mine soon! Mark.

I would like the D4 update version please, where is the bluetooth module located, and how do I get access to it ? where does the two wire cable connect to ? does it connect in to the old cable plug ?

I'm new around these parts and haven't bought a discovery yet ( still looking, long story ) but I've read with interest your D4 bluetooth module change thread as my father in law has as 2005 ffrr which has rubbish bluetooth compatibility, doesn't work with his iPhone 3Gs, so wondered if this update would work for him ?

what is the FoMoCo PArt No. for the D4 module. My Wife has a very good contact with Ford, buying lots of ECUs and engine parts and maybe able to get a good supply going. Or if anyone else knows the FoMoCo part number.......... cheers

I have MY 08.5, it used to show the phonebook on the screen, since changing to Motorola Dext with Home Work, Mobile all under the same contact it won't display the phonebook, am I correct in thinking that I would need the D4 module to fix this
