Removing side boards

One of the discos I'm looking at buying has got the side step boards fitted and they arn't to my taste, are these easy to remove?looked like just a few bolts holding them on, and do they leave any marks when you remove them.

Hi Alex,

yes, they are easy to remove - you need to make sure the Allan Key is with them. If not, I have one you can borrow.

They will leave 3 rectangular holes in each of the sill protectors, but you can change these over quite easily - PM The Large One for a replacement quote..

And Welcome Thumbs Up

Great, thanks for the reply, don't think the allan key is there but i'll double check. If I manage to secure the car this will be the first thing I do!

I thought they were bolted on with Secure Allen bolts like the side protection tubes were.

much better without the allen bolt as the holes kept getting bunged up with dirt.
