A-Frame brackets

Just managed to pick up a 'soft' A-frame with LR spots on Ebay for £100, which considering the spots are on there seams like bit of a bargain even though the bottom brackets are missing.

Would anyone be prepared to lend me some to copy at some point?
Or are they cheap enough to purchase?

Thanks

Cheers Thumbs Up

Looks OK in the pics, and had only been up a few hours with a Buy it now of £100.

Might decide to sell the spots on.

No worries, but I think I'll offer it up first and see what it looks like with then on first.

Will need to go down the route of swapping the Front parking sensors into the A-frame so won't be a 5-minute job when I've sorted the brackets.

you can see the 2 either side bolt holes, but see the two big holes either side on the number plate plinth, thats the parking sensor holes.

Careful when drilling these out, I recommend from the front as the hole saw from the rear tears the mould. You will need to source the frames the parking sensors fit into too.

Thanks MacLeod.

I'll investigate making the brackets and parking sensor frames out of stainless so I don't have to paint them.

I'm coming around to the idea of fitting the spots.

I'll make up my own loom, but can't find the thread I've seen where somebody posted the details of where the connectors can be purchased that the LR spots will plug into.

I know it would be easy to cut the LR connectors off and make my own connections but it seams a shame to do it, especially if I do take them off again and want to sell them on.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the company or the original thread? I'm sure it was somebodies instructions on how to make your own loom up, but can't find it with the search engine.

Thanks
