All the voice commands are stored in the bluetooth module ..so they will be still there on the new module
Any previously stored voice dialled names would be lost though
Numbers are downloaded each time you connect ..so if you change phones ..only phone numbers in that phone would be displayed ( so basically no it does not store your numbers in the bluetooth module )G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks that clears that up.
I'm based 12 miles south of Stockport just in the hills of Derbyshire - do you get over this way with your box of tricks ?
cheers
LurkWhy do I have 2 big hands when my D3 maintenance requires small hands and at least three of them ?

Hi Wiggs
the car and house is in the UK, I'm working overseas at the moment but am back for a short spell in September.
The postal service here is more or less non existant so I wouldnty advise sending anything here anyway !
I've signed up on the website just in case, same username as my forum name here.
Thanks for the response.

Hi Wiggs thanks for the reply.
Funnily enough our car is stored at Nene @ Peterborough, but I wouldn't want to interfere with your plans.
Can you PM me with the price for the D4 module

this is definitely an upgrade worth doing -- no more having to input 2121 every time i drive the d3, even my transit was better than that !!!!!!! so thankyou adrian and the exchange module will be posted back to you tomorrow
