Hi friends
I am newbie in this forum and have question:
On D3 2006 TDV6, after ignition ON, warning turn lights start flashing. When ignition OFF its go OFF.
Engine wont crank. In fault memory of engine electronics there is DTC:
P251E-00
Power take off engine shutdown - circuit low
Know anybody where fault is?
Many thanks

Warning turn lights? You mean a four hazard lights come on? If so, I think it's in crash mode Bodsys Brake Bible

Yes, you are right. I mean hazard lights. Airbag Unit is defective and it is
Outside car for this moment. Could be this situation reason of hazard light flashing?

I definitely sounds like crash mode has been activated....as mentioned, this will cut of the fuel pump and without this being active, the engine will not be allowed to crank/start.
Crash mode can be deactivated by removing/turning the key if I remember correctly, but this doesn't seem to work in your case.
Can you tell us more about the airbag that you say is faulty? Which airbag? Faulty in what way?
How did you read the fault code? At your LR dealer?
Crash mode is activated by the Restraint Control Module under the cubby box area in the centre console. I'm wondering if this has been damaged in some way?
Either way, even if it was damaged, it shouldn't send a "crash" signal over the CANBus unless it detects crash conditions (crash sensors or roll-over).....even the individual crash sensors (I think there are 8 in total) are fairly fool-proof and shouldn't be able to send out false messages via CAN.
It's a strange one, but I think we need to know a bit more about why you have an airbag out of the car.....and why you didn't mention this in the first post??

Maros, Read these, they may help....
I'm making the assumption that you have boiught a crashed D3 and are trying to repair it to get it back on the road.....
SteveNorman wrote:Crash Signal
When the restraints control module outputs any of the
fire signals, it also outputs a hard wired crash signal to
the Engine Control Module (ECM) and changes the
high speed CAN bus output message from 'no crash' to
'crash condition'. The high speed CAN bus message is
used by the Central Junction Box (CJB) and the Fuel
Fired Booster Heater (FFBH).
On receipt of the crash signals:
• The ECM disables the fuel pump.
• Operation of the FFBH is disabled.
• The CJB enters the crash mode and:
• Activates all of the unlock signals of the vehicle
locking system, even if the vehicle is already
unlocked. After 3 seconds, the CJB activates the
unlock signals again, in case a lock button is
pressed during the crash, by flailing limbs for
example.
• Ignores all locking and superlocking inputs until
the crash mode is cancelled, when it returns the
locking system to normal operation.
• Activates all of the courtesy lamps, except for the
approach lamps. The activated courtesy lamps
remain on until they are manually switched off
at the lamp unit, or the CJB crash mode is
cancelled, when they return to normal operation.
• Activates the hazard warning lamps. The hazard
warning lamps remain on until cancelled by
turning the ignition switch from position II to
position I or 0, or until the crash mode is
cancelled.
The crash mode is cancelled by cycling the ignition
switch.

wiggs wrote:Some info for ya....
The RCM (restraints control module) is installed on the top of the transmission tunnel, in line with the B pillars, and controls operation of the SRS. The main functions of the RCM (restraints control module) include:
ô€º Crash detection and recording.
ô€º Air bag and pretensioner firing.
ô€º Self test and system monitoring, with status indication via the SRS (supplemental restraint system) warning lamp and non volatile storage of fault information.
A safing sensor in the RCM (restraints control module) provides confirmation of an impact to verify if air bag and pretensioner activation is necessary. A roll-over sensor monitors the lateral attitude of the vehicle. Various firing strategies
are employed by the RCM (restraints control module) to ensure that during an accident only the appropriate air bags and pretensioners are fired. The firing strategy used also depends on the inputs from the safety belt switches and the
occupant monitoring system.
An energy reserve in the RCM (restraints control module) ensures there is always a minimum of 150 milliseconds of stored energy available if the power supply from the ignition switch is disrupted during a crash. The stored energy is sufficient to produce firing signals for the driver air bag, the passenger air bag and the safety belt pretensioners.
When the ignition is switched on the RCM (restraints control module) performs a self test and then performs cyclical monitoring of the system. If a fault is detected the RCM (restraints control module) stores a related fault code and
illuminates the SRS (supplemental restraint system) warning indicator. The faults can be retrieved by T4 on a dedicated link between the RCM (restraints control module) and the diagnostic socket. If a fault that could cause a false fire signal is detected, the RCM (restraints control module) disables the respective firing circuit, and keeps it disabled during a crash event. Bodsys Brake Bible

so....
Car was imported to my country as non functional car after full water damaged. Whole car was cleaned perfectly, but lot of electronics was damaged. My role is to make this car live. To this time I replaced Instrument cluster, Body control module, Engine Control Unit.
Transmision control unit, Transfer case unit, Park brake unit, Park distance control unit, Air suspension control unit are ok and comunicate with my own IDS diagnostic tester.
Audio control unit, Climate control unit, Airbag control unit are still death and its are not in car ( maybe will be replaced later)
Maybe there must be airbag unit instaled to this car work.....
On dashboard after ignition ON all lights go OFF only batery and airbag light stay ON
Question is: Could missing of airbag unit cause this situation with flashing hazard light with ignition ON?
Thanks for any ideas

A couple of weeks ago Buelbeast was fitting some stuff behind the centre console and removed my radio and climate control units from the centre of the dash. While they were out he showed me the car could not start, the lights came on but the engine wouldn't turn and he said it was because the units weren't in place.

Yes it is possible because CAN lines from BCM to Dashboard are going thru climate control unit - it is not my case, I have climate contol unit instaled and my immo LED under rev counter is going OFF after ignition ON, so I guess that immobilizer is OK
