Oil Pressure Light

Hi
I am new to the site and this is my first post .
I have a 2007 Discovery 3 and have an issue with my oil pressure light .
When i start it the oil light wont go off .I have checked the the oil pressure and its ok
I fitted a new oil pressure sending switch and have also done a continuity check and everything checks out.

I suspect that i have an issue with the cluster on the back of the dash clocks.
Has anyone experienced this and if so how did you fix it.
Any advice would be great!!!!!

PS I am going to fit an oil pressure gauge

My lad had this on his 2007 MY - oil pressure light on dash constantly illuminated.

It was a bad joint on the back of his instrument cluster - sent it to "Totaltronics " for repair.

Quick turnround- couple of days - no problems since.
 I see no ships........
