Help with decision on Iphone Installation against Parrot

Aux in Nov 2006 D3 SE Model - Can you connect the Iphone 3GS to it so it will play music through the Car speaker system and will it also charge the phone....

The car has the Parrot bluetooth in it will this interrupt the music when a call comes through if the phone is pared with it

Is it best to have the Iphone installed correctly when you purchase the car from the LR dealer and forget about the Parrott to keep things easy....

Sorry I do not know how the original one works, but I installed a Parrot Mki9100 to my late 2005 D3 HSE (with Harman Kardon premium audio) yesterday, and it works beatifully on side of the car's own audio arrangements -- the only connection point to the car's hardware was under the rear seat, at (two of) the amplifier connectors.

Works fine with the phone (I have Nokia though) aswell as with Ipod Touch -- mutes when needed etc.
