TPMS problem/more info
My LRD3 (2009) has TPMS (factory fitted). I have bought extra LR's alloy wheels (winter season wheels) without TPMS senders. The TPMS (4 pcs.) senders has been ordered according correct part nr. LR010532 (producer Ford

) After assembling and coding the each sender ID to the ECU in authorized service, the system works good. One day came weather changing from hot to cold at night. Early in the morning after startup my LRD3, the TPMS indicator lits on. I checked the pressure of all wheels-OK. The substitution of wheels with anyone including spare wheel, doesn‘t solve the problem. The same situation is when I changing the all original wheels after ‘winter season wheels’.
1/ Does anybody have idea where is problem?
2/ For example, Jeep/Chrysler has TPMS too, but car driver can read absolute pressure value (kPa or PSI) of each wheel in standard MENU of board computer. I know that these senders sending absolute pressure value (maybe temperature too) to the ECU, because the ECU has internal (factory presetup http://www.blackbox-solutions.com/photos/CCF_disco3_new.htm) limits (min./max.) of absolute pressure for each wheel and values for heavy duty mode too. After market TPMS has both functions.
For example-you can self made OBD scanner...http://www.arduino.cc, description http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs, interface http://code.google.com/p/opengauge/wiki/OBDuino, schematic http://code.google.com/p/opengauge/wiki/OBDuinoDiagram, OBD interface to Arduino board http://code.google.com/p/opengauge/wiki/OBDuinoInterface...
Does anybody have more info about TPMS senders and command(s) for CAN bus (OBD-II) to read absolute pressure value of each wheel?hidden winch T-MAX 12000lbs, under body protection, deactivated ECO Start/Stop by Arduino Nano, LAZER 750 Triple R LED high beam lights, CB radio
