Hydra Bush

Hello All

I had my "Hydra Bushes" done today, masive difference to clunky front end by a good LR dealer in Geelong.

Question is, Hydra bushes, WTF. Is this just a LR term for wishbone bushes or some other normal term changed into LR speak to compensate for cost?

Anyone.....

Ian

Thanks for that Neil, I was more after where it is. Ie. Lower wishbone bushes.
I have googled but can only find the part, not the application

"Hydraulic bush" is the full name. A rubber bush with hydraulic fluid in it.

Australia 2005 Discovery 3 4.4 V8 HSE Auto Bonatti GreyDiscovery 3

I replaced these on my 100,000k old 05 HSE V8 last weekend at work.

I fitted the Super-pro urethane jobbies and am extremely impressed with how the car now drives. Steering is a whole lot more direct with out the dead spot in the middle. Also lost the clunk from the front end i used to hear over reasonable bumps.

Mine has 135000 but was clunky for a long while before that, it would be good for someone to post a full list of aftermarket replacement suspension parts for our vehicles.
