What wax?
Okay... D3 is a big car, I want a wax or similar that's going to give me the best showroom shine with water beading when it rains, but for as little effort as possible. What does everyone recommend? I'd rather pay a little bit more for a product if it saves me time and sweat. Yeah, I'm lazy.

I like P21S, although I've just bought some Poorboys. Not yet used it.....

Get a decent sealant and forget waxes unless you've got lots of time on your hands.....
Jetseal or Poorboys EX Sealant are great products and well recommended 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

I just bought some Bilt Hamber Hydra Wax
It's a liquid cannuba based wax, very easy to go on, left 10 mins and buffed of very easily
Beading water really nice too

Other than a blast with TFR from the truck wash every five or six week, thats bout it!The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Any good wax mentioned above should be just as easy to apply as a sealant. Key is to apply it thinly...very, then it'll buff with no issues.
FWIW.....
poorboys paste wax, dodojuice and swissvax get my vote for wax,
sealants would be Zaino, poorboys EX, nanolex or good old autoglym extra gloss protection
HD wax and P21s dont last long enough on the car...IMHO and experience they give gloss but not long protection.

For the above products, it's best to prep the paint (clay, paint cleaner, swirl remover, polish) before applying it. For just a one step thing to last a bit, I'd recommend Meguire's NXT 2.0, or Mothers Carnuaba Cleaner wax.
Here's a pic of my Bright Silver Metallic Durango with the NXT 2.0 on it. I'd use it over Carnuaba on a silver vehicle, JMO.
Holds up very well, and beads great!
But for my Java Black LR3, Carnuaba is the only choice!
