Sill protectors
Thinking of fitting sill protectors especially to the drivers door to cover up a few small scratches and prevent any more. Any good ones on ebay that are recommended, or any to steer clear of?
RLD was doing some a while back - worth dropping him a line. Alternatively a google for Disco 3 and sill protectors will probably reveal other suppliersI know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Are you wanting the chrome kick plates that stick on the top of the sill (top ) or rock/sill protectors (Bottom )???

They are very easy to fit and look good as I'm not into too much shiny stainless steel on my motors. They appear to be hard wearing as well.2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack

Andy - top of the sill. The chrome ones that are out of stock on the Disco3 shop are more like it, not keen on the grey vinyl Hawke ones which I'd already seen. Pity the shop ones aren't in stock as ones in my basket from ebay are plain chrome but £70!
or even these?http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DISCOVERY-3-4-Door-Sill-Plates-Stainless-Steel-/160497765761?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item255e698d81

Clive,
I cant work the photograph out, are they plain stainless on the upwards side that's seen? What are the lines that are visible?
Regarding other posts that make reference to not mentioning other companies... I've obviously missed this rule for the forum, can someone fill me in?

NickJ, they are plain stainless with the outer edge turned over to match the contour of the sill it fits on, the lines are just a decorative "design" etched into the top surface.Clive
Nick,
In the past there was an incident where the owner of this forum was upset by the actions of one of the forum members.
That member subsiquently started up a company that produces stuff for D3's & D4's.
The disagreement between the two parties did not end happily on the part of the site owner and as such mention of the company concerned is specifically prohibited.
I hope I have conveyed the happenings of the without error and you get the gist of it.

Justifiably, in my view.

The Coy was operating prior.

Unnecesary bias on your part NSN.
