I guess the D3 driver could have cautiously and slowly gone through it like the Defenders had to. but it was obvious the driver was fearlessly over booting it on the entry and made a point of stopping in the middle, perhaps to answer a call on the Blue tooth, adjust the volume on his Logic 7 surround system, check the sat nav, or adjust the heating on his seat,
after which he took off like he was on tarmac, rather than in some 4 foot deep muddy bog.
The others created a bow wave, yet he created a mini Tsunami that sent the onlookers running in fear and awe.
I happen to speak a little Russian, but you don't need to to speak any russian at all to realise that at the end, the suitibly impressed onlooker signed off stating that "the best Machine is the Disco 3".
This video is actually really quite deja vu to me.
Substitute the Language for Greek and it really is a prime example of my own personal experience of off roading with the Cyprus Land Rover owners club in my bog standard 17 inch road tyred D3 while they all have butched up Defenders.
When i first turned up with a shiny and clean bog standard D3 dressed up in only shorts and sandals, with Wife, Dogs and Picnic hamper they laughed and poked fun, but i soon wiped that smile clean off their faces when the going got tough and i was able to drive through stuff they struggled with like it was a Mcdonalds drive through
