I used to work there - consulting for Wackenhut. Lovely place!

Kevin,
mmm not a lot to do a night though...
Glad I'm based at home in Shropshire and only go down when I need to. Prefer to stay in the West End though and do the Soho thing with clients as there is a little more to do in that part of town.

I used to do the same- long days out of Sheffield, rather than staying overnight. The hotels there are miserable- full of in transit travellers and air crew.

Next challenge is to beat you as number one poster, current 'top ten'is:

Gareth 477
BN 467
Martin 338
Ecosse 315
Pelyma 256
Slimer 212
DiscoMad 122
freeflytim 111
FamilyMan 103
Well Si, not going to plan so far is it
In the 32 days since the 5000th post, there have been 3185 more, leaving just 1815 to go until 10000. Never mind 4 months, it's going to be, I predict, about another 18 days to get to 10000, which would be a total of 50 days since the 5000th
And BN overtook Simon a long long time ago

I think our next target should be to improve upon the slightly disappointing highest number of users online at the same time figure - currently a mere 17 on July 20th - before that it had been 15 for several months IIRC. Or will the site fall over if we have more than 20 people using it at the same time?

Just to help my 'stats'... |

Nothing much to say really, although with 20+ all on at the same time, could the software cope with the 'usual suspects' and everyone else best get some extra fans in the server room Martin!

Gave up on the top poster idea once Brian got in to full swing (I reckon he took a typing course ) though I have moved up into 4 place
My prediction on 10000 posts was less than 4 months so I'm right on that one The End

This thread started as '200th user'.
We're now on no. 274 and the thread is still active (don't blame me- Martin keeps on doing it).
Can we rename it the '300th user' thread? Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles

I think somewhere along the line it become "5000th post", then "10000th" post. Although in a very DISCO3 way, no-one really knows how 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
