I went skiing in the mountains last weekend and decided to drive via "the old road" instead of the never ending tunnels on my way home. It was very cold and late in the day which made it difficult to get the pictures right, but thought I could share them anyways.
This picture was taken by Langfoss where I was lucky enough too see two Eagles enjoying the updraft from the somewhat warmer air meeting the freezing air around a frozen waterfall:

The frozen waterfall is really a sight to behold, but didn't have a good enough camera too really catch it, if you look close you can see another Eagle playing in the updraft:

I would not recommend to pass underneath one of those icicles - unless you have an armored roof rack:

Trolljuv bru: You can bungee jump from this bridge.. The drop is 115 meters down to some nasty looking rocks. The bridge itself is an interesting construction with a short tunnel in each end:

Ã…krafjorden is quite steep in some places, I do enjoy the gadget factor off the surround cameras, but these two pictures really put their use - and the fjord - in a new perspective, 150 meters over the sea:

Amazing , the eagle really put the waterfall into proportion - at first I thought the waterfall was small. Nice one

That's some amazing scenery you have in Norway.
The waterfall is incredible and handy having the eagle to give it a sense of scale.
Also really like the 2nd to last picture with the wing mirror view. very nice '05 D3 HSE, Logic 7, fridge, 4x4info, and more to come!
