d3 weights at the rear catching something, have a look under rear of the vehicle, there are 2 dampers ( swinging weights). these should be free and not obstructed.
Check the tailgate support cables.

Is it just one banging noise when you accelerate?

Is it the transmission?
If you are slowing down and then hit the accelerator, sometimes a "bang" is felt. The Bearded Dragon

Hi Nico,
If it is as I described, then this is normal.
What some people have found is that fitting a remap, reduces the lag and, therefore, the "bang".
