Weird window fault
Hi all,
I bought myself a D3 yesterday, which I love but there's a couple of minor electrical glitches. I know I can take the car back under warranty for repairs but I'm happy to fix easy stuff myself to avoid the hassle of going back.
I've had a search through the forum and have figured out how to diagnose my intermittent PDC fault and I can have a go at recharging the spare key by taping it to the main key
However, one fault has me stumped. I can lower the rear passenger side window from the drivers door switches, but it won't raise the window from this switch. However, from the rear passenger door switch, I can raise the window but not lower it Any ideas of how to fix this?
One of my other cars is an Alfa, so I have a high tolerance for faults. I suspect this will come in handy during LR ownership

Weird indeed.
First thing I'd check would be the connections to the switch blocks ~ guides to door card removal are in the 2nd post of my thread Here. You might want to add some -dynamat whilst you have the card off though.

You can pull the switch's out without removing the door cards ..just put something round the edge to stop any scratches and prise out with a screwdriver
You should have enough cable to see if the connector is pushed fully homeG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks Wiggs! I'll give that a go. I'll also need to have a chat with you about getting my Bluetooth upgraded.
