Wrangler all weather

Why is it that many on the forum seem so keen to move away from what used to be the original tyres for the D3. I've not had any trouble with mine, done around 36K to a rear set & sl less for fronts. They are quiet on the motorway & I've not had any issues at all in the snow. The D3 seems so capable it kind of forgives you if your not silly. Yes in a grassy field you can hoon it around on this rubber but as my D3 spends most of its time on road they seem ideal
Is it a case of horses for courses or am I missing something? I'm due a 4 tyre change soon so the multiple recent tyre debates are 'interesting'!

Wranglers have been doing that for years, the newer HP AW is a little better.

Some cars had Wranglers, others have had Wrangler AWs. Perhaps the AWs are better suited?

As regards people on the forum moving away from OE tyres, you need to consider that many contributors on here are enthusiasts who enjoy using their vehicles off the tarmac. As such, it's only reasonable to expect a move towards AT tyres of some kind, as they all perform demonstrably better in mixed offroad conditions than a road biased tyre of the same size and profile.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
