Had two new Wranglers put on the front. I have had the car back at the the tyre depot a further twice to have them re-balanced. But to no avail, I still get quite a noticeable shake on the steering wheel at 60 mph.
I queried the number of weights they have put on both wheels (65g) to balance them. Sounds a lot to me. Tyre depot says normal.
But I have to admit I had wobble with the old tyres which I was told had worn unevenly and could not be balanced.
So now I am wondering if it isn't the tyres, could be anything else - discs??
Can anyone offer any advice?

I have just spotted post from Dave291 on wheel judder and replies.
I will get it checked for worn ball joints. 04 TDV6 SE Auto Vienna Green/Tundra Leather - LR side steps.

Dirt on the inside of the wheel rims can do this.

Turns out it was a binding front calliper causing judder. Suspension joints are fine. Rogers of Bedford replaced the calliper and new pads as the binding one was pretty well shot.
No wobble now.
