D4 Sat Nav

Mate of mine just bought himself a brand new D4 HSE V8 petrol.Set off on his holidays from the Garden Route to Namibia and at the border the Sat Nav went blank!
He left his Garmin at home because the salesman told him that the built in Sat Nav covered Southern Africa.On his return he visits the dealership and receives a shrug of the shoulders from the salesman!
Is it possible to buy updated maps for the D4 that cover Southern Africa?

I don't think so. I use a Nuvi 500 with "tracks for africa" when I go to the bush, cheaper also Thumbs Up . Glad your friend found his way home! Laughing White MY2011 SDV6 HSE
