Guys, these lights are not all that great. They are not particularly bright. They are increadibly complex to install and it takes many many hours, with lots of headscratching and cursing. Also though the mount for them is hellastrong, the mechanism that controls their aim is made of parsley of something equally unstout. You will need to adjust them regularly, and they bounce around considerably on rough tracks at night, making the trail very difficult to navigate, unless you are quite used to the `70's disco scene.

Yes they do have a mounting made of plasticine! but I dont find them bouncing around to much.
Bright enough for my needs too, but no where near as bright as some lamps I saw (from a great distance!) fitted to tfc's mota
The plus side to a flexible mounting is when you crash into things, they bend back instead of snapping off or smashing

Still no joy at my end for the lights - have you had yours yet. The seller would not allow me to pick them up saying they worked long hours!!. Hopefully they are telling the truth!!
Am down in London tonight but just spoke to SWMBO and there is a ParcelForce note posted through the door today - we're expecting nothing else from ParcelForce so it must be my lights - hurrah!!!!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Not just yet. Been a bit busy recently - need a clear day, and a garage, probably, considering the time of year. Time to visit my Dads' house..... Disco 5 HSE Lux

I think you'll be OK - I'm assuming that the supply of these (wherever they come from ) is not instantaneous for them - I'll let you know tomorrow evening or Friday when I see them in the fleshSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
