Superb cheers, why is there an issue with the GPS version
Could have done with it today when the women next to me got confused and thought you went in a straight line at roundabouts taking the paint on my nicely colour coded passenger wheelarch with her.
Took me a mile to get her to stop so I could explain that they are called roundabouts for a reason, not straight-on-abouts.
It will probably cost about £50 to get the arch sorted, but about £1500 for her to get the drivers side rear quarter pannel straightend out. Couldn't belive the damage to her car & only the few scratches on my wheel arch, which are barley noticable.
Not bothering with insurance, we both agreed on that.d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack

Permanent wiring for a Blackvue
Now that a number of us have eventually joined the 'I now have a working Blackvue' club I was thinking of a tidy way for a non electrical expert to wire this up so that it has a permanent live feed.
How about this for starters (I have nil to zero electrical qualifications - as I am about to prove) take a feed from the courtesy light and a feed from the alarm sensor (that would give a combined permanent feed?) wire them in parallel. Would we need a diode to prevent and current going bacjk into either of the systems?
Yes, no or get my coat?

Permanent live ciggy lighter is OK but messy wiring - hard wired into some feed or other would be loads better and neater?
Seems we need an expert to come along

OK, that was easy.... was hoping to not have to run wires down from the screen to the sockets though....

I am going to run mine from the bypass cable that I am going to put into the fuse box behind the glove box.
I think we need wiggs to confirm the best way wire the blackvue ind4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack
