NYM is the other option, I know Rudland Rigg and a few others but you would want to make it a full day if heading up there.
Willie's guide would be handy, he drives them regularly and I am sure he will be up to date with RTV's etc.
Mid week is do-able for me if that is easier.

Robin Hood's Bay Trials Weekend - 7th/8th May 2011
A trials competition for road taxed vehicles (RTV), all marques, models and experience welcome. A popular venue on the East coast, overlooking the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay. Fantastic views of the sea and the coast, assuming the fog gives us a break ! Camping and caravanning available on site with full facilities.
