Yes DG, scary stuff watching the news.
I was there 10 days ago with my family and saw many a building that we drove / walked by now damaged or destroyed.
I wish for many a survival story rather than adding to the already growing fatality number.2014 SDV6 HSE White, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Tuff Ant Sliders and 18" steel wheels, Safari Snorkel, Rhino Rack Platform, ARB Air Compressor, Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.

Agreed, hope peeps are well. Techie details below but after that a string of minor quakes after that according to USGS. Remember the difference between a 6 and a 7 is a factor of 10 (Richter being a log10 scale) so the one last year was almost 10 times more powerful.

Unfortunately it was a wery shallow quake (5km) and from the techie stuff (if I remember my 2nd year geophysics correctly) lot of horizontal slip. Also it was very close. September one was further away and deeper (12km from memory). USGS are tagging this as an aftershock of the September one, one of several in the last 24 hours.
