Hi, pick up my Discovery 4 XS on 21 March, in Santorini Black with reversing camera, full spare.
I've had a silver BMW 5 series for a while now and never has a black car in fact this is my first 4 x 4.
It was a HSE I test drove but can anybody tell me whether this model has a sunroof, it just dawned on me that I didnt know...
I could ask my dealer but thought I would say hello on this site...

Never felt the need for a sunroof and judging by the amount of threads referring to water in the footwell, they can be a PITA.
There were other extras that I wanted for the £1000 that it costs and persuading SWMBO was easier by getting them piecemeal after the purchase.

Hi all thanks for the replies.
Well, I'm probably talking more about a light thing than a sunroof, watched a review video of an XS, carbuyer site I think it was and the model had armrests and sunroof well there was light coming in from the roof anyway.
I was taken in too by the pictures on the LR webiste, sure some showed armrests down and up. Hope this is not too much of an inconvenience and the console will do. I'm sure the spec said it has voice activation too.
Anyway I'm looking forward to it, first 4 x 4, the winters have been really bad here the last two years and I have a couple of dogs now, the BMW is absolutely no use for dogs. Just a good cruiser.
I read the leather seats are not too hot in the XS compared to the HSE, looking back the other day I found myself saying to myself that I should have gone with the Landmark but them again it just seems a bit too gaudy. I never took the privacy glass with the Santorini Black although I hope the glass is not too clear.
Anybody know how the bog standard sat nav is in the XS?

My D3 had a sunroof and I never felt the need to use it, despite loving sunroofs generally (use the one on my Subaru quite a lot). Because the roof is so high above the seats ad the side windows were large there didn't seem to be any benefit from having a sunroof. Before accounting for the leaks that happened (at the same time as egr failure and the wiring fault that caused me ultimately to get rid...)
