| Wing Mirror not retracting |

Hi,
I have recently got my first Discovery (a 1 yr old D4 HSE), which I am very happy with. Couple of small q's, the N/S wing mirror no longer folds when the car is locked (not sure if it did when I took delivery). Is there a setting somewhere or something to look at before it goes back to the dealer?
Also, I think from the manual there is meant to be a key sensor at the tail gate? The keyless entry works from every door except the tailgate, is this right? I always end up letting the dog in first which means I need the tailgate open first, so have to get the key out and press the button.
One last point, is there the D4 manual available online, I keep forgetting to get it out of the car to study when I have a moment.

Not sure about the mirrors but there is a sensor on the tailgate as if I approach the tailgate it will open without using the key leaving the rest of the car locked.

Fold the mirror completely out ie so it points towards the front of the car
This will expose the folding mechanism
Give it all a good spray with wd40 and manually fold and unfold it a few times
Had the same problem on my d4 and all ok now
Can you hear the mechanism trying to fold and unfold Duncan
