Good Discovery 3 Mechanic in Sydney? North Shore if Possible |
|
Can anyone reccomend a good D3 mechanic?
Just brought a cheap D3 and it needs various jobs doing such as:
Ball Joints, Brake Fluid drain, Normal Service, Airbag light is on, Probably due a Belts Service etc etc...
Just want to give it the 'works' and get it back to humming 100%
Cheers,
Robin. White, poverty spec 4.0v6 model with Black 20inch alloys that previous owner fitted but I kinda like.

Hi Robin,
Alto at St Leonards are expensive!
Ayers at Brookvale are a bit cheaper.
I'm happy with their work, I've been using them for over 15 yrs.
Also they have loan cars available, first day free except for a km / fuel charge. Makes it easy to get to work.

I've been happy with trivett at Parramatt, all work done properly, not the cheapest but as I said unfaulted.
The have done great wheel alignments, nothing a Disco loves more than a good wheel alignment, mine gets a noticable improvement in fuel economy when properly aligned, about 5%+.
They have loan cars on a daily charge with a couple of weeks notice.

Alto are expensive but ask Fabio if he can do a loaner for a forum member. They have been good to me.
I believe there are a mob at Artarmon as well the ownwer has a D3. I think it may be Cremorne prestige. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Thanks Rich, they are the closest and I'm more than happy to use an Independant. Getting them to do a Major Service plus other bits n bobs next week. White, poverty spec 4.0v6 model with Black 20inch alloys that previous owner fitted but I kinda like.
