Hi wiggs,
I have done the hard reset and joined the + to - terminals. I left for 20 mins like that and re-connected. No power still.
I have continuity checked all the fuses and swapped some over. Fuses are all good.
Will double check the Fuseable link as you say. Thanks

Think you may have to start checking voltage at each individual item ...and least to find out if its a break from the main supply to the units . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

When you say you have checked the fuses, is this only visually or have you put a multimeter accross them to be certain , might sound a silly question but sometimes they can 'look' ok, just a thought I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Hi,
I did a continuity check on them and also swapped some over. I can see a small arc when i reinsert Fuse No 53 in the glovebox.
Thanks for the colour codes and all the tips everyone
Do i need to remove the front trim panel around the centre console to do the next tests on the live feeds? I am assuming I have to pull each module out and disconnect the power leads in turn to check V inputs?
Certainly going to be ramping up my Disco skills now..
Where is the amp D3 HSE TDV6 '06

Update:
Been in to Landrover to get some suspension parts fixed and they checked the stereo whilst it was in. The Head unit 6 stack CD part has failed and hence does not power up the other units. Been quoted £1200 to replace it if I want a new one, or they are ok to refit another if I can get it repaired.
Have found this company that repair them http://www.mapleaudio.co.uk/
Anyone used them before? D3 HSE TDV6 '06

Further update and a warning to all....
I have the head unit out of the car and have taken off the top cover. I can see crystalline deposits on the circuit board where water must have dripped down into it from above !!
Bare in mind that one evening the system was working fine and the next morning it had failed. I had noticed one of the children's plastic drinks containers on the small shelf in front of the sat nav display but it was empty - I thought nothing of it at the time until now.
It looks like some water from the bottle has come out onto the shelf and then dripped into the head unit causing it to fail. What made matters worse was the Disco was parked facing down on a steep drive so the water easily found a route under the sat nav display and into the stereo.
Maple Audio are aware of this fault and say that it is hit and miss whether they can save the unit or not. It depends how badly the board is damaged. I am sending it off to them - if they cant repair there is no fee, just courier charge of £15 to send it back. D3 HSE TDV6 '06

Last update.
Head unit could not be repaired so bought another new from TLO. Can send old unit back as its and exchange part.
Arrived in the post today, literally plugged it in and the whole system is up and running again.
So keep your drinks off the shelf in front of the SAT NAV - even the ones with lids - they may not be a leaktight as you think...
Expensive lesson...

Have started to go thru this section in detail as I have stereo problems ie lack of sound but unlike you the unit has power. Can I ask you how you extract the head unit out of the dashboard?
