Picked It Up
Collected my new D4 XS yesterday afternoon from the dealer in Leicester - first impressions, very pleased with it. Bought a vehicle that was allocated to them but was on the pound at Solihull, so only had to wait for 10 days for them to get it, PDI it and add the extra bits I wanted, Privacy Glass and detachable tow bar.
Very impressed with that new engine, really pulls well lots of power across the range, and so quiet, hard to believe it is a chip fat burner. Need to go up to the caravan storage site just to be sure all is well with the installed towing electrics. would not be a good idea to plug in on Good Friday for our New Forest break, and then to find out they have not installed it correctly!
Luckily for me I wanted Bali Blue with Almond trim, and that is exactly what they had, looked stunning in the spring sunshine yesterday. Will take some pictures and upload them here when I get five minutes.If you don't know where you're going any road will take you there.

Just about to order my D3 day to day replacement, prob a 520d estate. Only problem is it's only factory order and won't get that new car smell til June/July!
D3 retired as offroader.
