My 30,000 at a main dealer with discs and pads all round............................ £1,200.00 . If you say it quickly, it doesn`t sound so much i was almost crying when I handed over the plastic.

Do they really go through discs that quickly? I appreciate that they are very heavy vehicles that are quick and stop well for their size, but has anyone ever asked for the thickness when changed and the manufacturers wear limit?

Needed pads and turbo @25000 on my08 manual a month ago(brakes should last longer than auto )changed the disk and epb shoes as well, I supplied all the brake related parts(bought last year from TLO before price rise) + 30000miles service for under £600 @ lookers park royal, remember epb needs bedding in so require more labour than just disc brakes. As mentioned before very happy with Lookers A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2
MY09EGR's blanked Thanks Bellautos, BAS

My now departed 09 D4 showed a service was required at 33,000, pads were only 60 percent worn and no appreciable wear to discs. Tyres changed at 26,000 with 3 mm left. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE
