Help with winch.

Gents am after some help and advise. Have been given a winch with no instructions or info. It comes complete with plug in remote, and solenoids, also believe it could have a wireless remote as there is an areial within the solenoid box. The winch has three connectors, Red, Yellow and Black but the solenoid box has four, 2 x Red, Yellow, and Black. I think the long red from the solenoid box is the live from the battery, the short red from the solenoid box to the red terminal on the winch, the yellow and black from the solenoid box also dirrect to the winch, should there be an earth from the winch to the car chassis.
There is no name on the winch but it is marked 1200lb CE, has anyone got any idea who it is made by?
There are some numbers on the winch DF070332330 and on the winch solenoid box KY3010E and 1000323.
Any help or ideas about it connecting it, operating it or servicing it would be much appreciated.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

look underneath the bit where the three wires go and you will probably find a fourth terminal there to connect to battery negative.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It looks also remarkably like the Chinese one I've just bought. I'd copy you the manual, but there isn't a lot in it apart from the safety information, The coloured wires go to the coloured terminals, and long black wire to battery negative, long red wire to battery positive.
I'd suggest connecting the wires up in a temporary fashion before you mount the winch so that you can find out if it at least goes in and out.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. Navigator, thanks will give it a try. Wanted some info on it if possible as the engage diengage lever is a bit still and does not always click over to disengage so was looking at taking it apart and lubricating possibly.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Nothing that technical in the manual I have. But it is just a dog clutch - when you take off be careful of gears and things inside.
