The passenger door behind the drivers wont consistently lock. It was discovered by accident so I don't know how long it hasn't been working. But when the key fob is pushed twice to lock (ie Deadlock) then that door SOMETIMES locks, but not always. I suspect the problem is a door lock actuator in the door is a bit sticky. either some lubrication or replacement would fix but I'm not sure.
Has anyone else had this problem and know what was done to correct the issue?
It's a 2005 D3 V8 HSE.
Thanks for any help from anyone.

Same problem here. Tried to spray WD40 into it and no change. Ordered a new door latch and will replace it myself when it arrives. Bernt-Inge
