I am over in NZ and we are shipping our 07 D3 TDV6 over to Sydney next week to spend the winter touring around Oz.
I have sorted all my insurances out but am having trouble getting an extended mechanical warranty for while we are over there.
We have an extended cover here but they will not cover us while in Oz.
I tried Allianz today but they will not give cover without it going through an accredited dealer.
Can anyone give me the name of any other insurance company who may be able to help.

Ring the guys at Purnells Bros Blakehurst in Sydney and maybe they can arrange the cover. I did mine through them and really easy. Your situation may be a little different but worth a try. Dont forget to haggle on the price (maybe Ive been in Asai too long) Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar,side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)
