Pelyma. That is a Blue Marlin that was 90kg. I was only using 50lbs line. It was a personaly record. We were hoping to tag and release but the tackle was to light and it took 2.5hours to pull in. The Marlin dragged us 8km out to sea and then dived 160m down. It was like pulling up a anchor. Thank goodness the D3 is automatic as my arms were to tried to change gear. If you don't get in a blue Marlin in quick you are in trouble as they fight to the death. Bad day fishing is better then a good day in the office.

If only we had them here! A few broadbills have turned up in nets this summer, we live in hope!! I thought black as the pectorals looked rigid, but a great catch. I assume the boat is what you guys call a ski boat, they sound mental, but fun 8) DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
