Has anyone done a Autologic remap. I am in George and can get a Autologic remap done in Cape Town. How does the Autologic remap compare to B.A.S or TorqTune. By the way it is for a D3 TDV6. Schedule makes it very difficult for me to be in Cape Town when Baben in there.
Feedback and advise is most welcome.
Thanks
Tony

I have a BAS remap and love it, totally transforms the D3. I cant compare it to any other as i've only ever driven mine or a standard D3.
What i can say is Pete at BAS is a top bloke help is always at the end of the phone or email when needed.
The beauty of the BAS box is you can remove the map when required and it also doubles up as a basic engine fault code reader.
The map is all sent via email so could be done anytime no meeting up needed

Didn't want to make too much noise about it, but yes, we now have a unit that will allow you to map your own vehicle and remove it when you wish

TT,
It seems it must be. Glad to hear new option is up and running. I have just upgraded from a 2007 D3 s to a 2008 hse in immaculate condition. I will have to "gather the pennies" for a bit before I can get remap. Thanks for all the help. Anthony I will PM you for further details.
Thanks to all
Regards
Tony

Maybe Baben can even give me a ddddddddis.............. WHAT IS THAT WORD HE SO DISLIKES? TO HELP PAY FOR THE BEERS...NHAA I think I can handle that. Thanks for the offer DJ, when we are ready I will certaily make contact with you. Could use yout advise and experience. Must say my "new" 08 HSE DRIVES BETTER, seems more powerful, as well as more economical than my prevoius D3 07 S. From time to time on my previous D3 I used a Diesel Torue Chip, known overseas as DTE, IT only made a difference to economy and regardless of the setting seemed to cause a bit of rough running, however this could have been caused by either turbo, or EGR issues I was having. I will get a TT, JUST HAVE TO GET TIMING RIGHT.
Thanks.
Tony

We had TT done in Jan on stop over in JHB. I dont seem to be able to stop smiling. Take note due to various reasons I was unable to get fine tuning done, so possibility of improvement still available. PERFORMANCE , CONSUMPTION AND DRIVABILITY GREATLY ENHANCED.
Thank you again Anthony.
