I'm also off to France in a couple of weeks, with the D3 and a hooge trailer - the D3 has 'EU style' plates, so no need for a GB sticker..............but should the trailer have one on it ?

One thing you may want to check.....My understanding is that as the French motorways are privately owned, only certain recovery companies are allowed to recover vehicles. Some have an agreement with the UK motoring organisations where they are paid directly but others do not have an agreement , so you may have to pay the bill to be taken off the motorway and then recover it from your motoring organisation when back in the UK.

Havent had to use them yet abroad so don't know what they're like,
but what they cover and price always seemed pretty good Thumbs Up
