Windscreen side protection strips. |
|
Went out for the old Sunday drive to Whim creek pub yesterday, and on the way home a road train passed us (coming towards us), the force of the wind almost pulled off the left windsceen side protection strip! it was only held on by one plug! has anyone had this before? if so any ideas how we stop it happening again?
Cheers

Kenso,
If you mean the black plastic trims that run up the A pillar they are known to come off. There is a thread on this forum about this topic.

I believe it is a warranty fix by the dealer.

Yup, Thanks Chris, them's what I mean. Spoke to the local LR guy he's ordreing the new ones, and yes thay are under warranty. As I am leaving for a round trip of 8000k to Mission Beach and back on Wednesday I will have to wait until I get home to have the fix done. Until then I have used dbl side foam tape to hopefully stop it happening again until I get home.
