Me & my big mouth -should've known better than too brag about having 12K trouble free miles. The radio decided to stop working today -CD OK & radio info/channel etc displayed but no sound?? Did the usual turn off the ignition, count to 10 etc to no avail. Then, low & behold, after being parked up for 3 hours, on return it was working again.
Is this a case of voodoo or am I getting paranoid
It's just that I'm off 'up north' in a few days & starting to get twitchy there's a problem lurking Richard

Have you by any chance got a home recorded mp3 cd in the system? this locked mine up big style! I now use only good quality cdrw disks and have not had the problem since.

Mine used to suffer from this problem. I was told to take both battery cables off and contact them together using a spanner making sure not to touch the battery terminals. Not had any problems since. Well apart from needing a new engine
And I'm not suggesting any one does this BTW In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
