I know Col du Joly very well - I ski there regularly and have been walking there in the summer. Did you grab lunch at Chez Gaston? Gregoire & Celine put some great food on the table there.

Nice pics Thumbs Up

Despite looking in depth, I can't find anything on Rights of Way in this area.

Is there a pattern or format to it like BOATs/UCR in the UK? Is it a no-go or is it a free-for-all?

We'll be in Combloux in August. +1 for Chez Gaston. Trying to remember, though, if it's there we get a fabulous Tartiflette avec Girolles when they're in season.
